Utah leads the nation in median household income at $98,000 in 2024. That’s nearly 27% higher than the national average.

Smith Entertainment Group just announced they will donate up to $500,000 per hockey rink on up to 20 rinks around Utah. They really want to fuel the passion around the sport in the state. They are taking applications for anyone interested!

🌮 Restaurant Spotlight 🤤

Sal Y Limon is a new modern taco joint in Midvale and it is to die for. Check out some pictures below. Gourmet tacos, street tacos, and more - they have it all. Burritos and salads too. These dishes are oozing with flavor. If you’re at all close, make it a point to stop by and check it out! Here’s their Instagram.

  • St. George has a huge art festival for those down south, April 18-19. Click here for more info.

  • Red Butte Garden and Arboretum in SLC has a free admission day on April 25, get tickets here. It is absolutely stunning.

  • Bare Knuckle Fighting is coming back to the Maverick Center on May 10 - get tickets here.

Local Sports News

The Jazz’s season ended yesterday with another loss, and finished the season with the worst record in the league. Cooper Flagg here we come! (Hopefully)

The Utah Hockey Club plays against Nashville tonight at 6pm. They’ve been eliminated from the playoffs but their inaugural season has been a blast!

Soccer is here! RSL plays Saturday against Toronto FC and we’ve got a good chance at getting a victory there.

BYU Basketball added Robert Wright III from Baylor to bolster their backcourt. Here’s some more players in the mix for the Cougars.
